Restless Style is the brainchild of four very creative minds who came together to create a unique fashion and lifestyle webzine experience. The idea came about when two couples, Jack and Sharon Abbott and Nicholas and Phyllis Newman, were chatting after a friendly dinner at the Abbott home in Genoa City, Wisconsin. As the former CEO of internationally renowned Jabot Cosmetics, Jack Abbott was looking for a new outlet for his energy and resources, while Nicholas had recently left a career in his family's business at world conglomerate Newman Enterprises and was itching for a creative venture. Nicholas' wife, Phyllis, a former website guru at both Newman and Jabot Cosmetics, was integral in the development of RS as both a print and online magazine. Sharon Abbott also joined the team, bringing her knowledge of the fashion industry and her experience as spokesperson for the "Beauty of Nature" cosmetics line.

Who's "By George?"

By George

You may have seen him on Good Morning America, E! News Daily, Access Hollywood, or How Do I Look? His home base is Los Angeles, but he's often bound for New York, Paris, Cannes – and most recently, the Genoa City offices of Restless Style, where he's been lending his real-world fashion and celebrity expertise.

Over the course of his career as a stylist, fashion editor and consultant, he's worked with stars such as Julianne Moore, Courtney Cox Arquette, Heidi Klum, Anne Hathaway, Ashley Judd and Christina Ricci, creating outfits and pictures for GQ, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, C, i-D, Interview, InStyle, The New York Times Magazine and L'Uomo Vogue.

His full name is GEORGE KOTSIOPOULOS, but you can call him "By George." As in "By George! That's a smashing outfit!" or "By George! I am looking quite fierce tonight!" or "By George! I have graduated from Fashion Drear to Fashion Diva!" And he's here to share his secrets with RS readers.

"Real style is more than just knowing how to shop," he says. "It's about seeing the potential in something plain, combining usual things in unusual ways and taking the time to experiment. It's the difference between Throwing Something On, and Putting Something Together."

"A good stylist can put together a great outfit using designer clothes and incredible jewelry," he says. "But a great stylist knows how to transform something run-of-the-mill into something one-of-a-kind." In this, his premiere column for Restless Style, By George shows how a beaded belt can take an outfit from simple to smashing…
