Dear Restless Readers,
Well, we made it! Despite a rotten economy and an ongoing shakeup as the publishing world tries to figure out where it's going, Restless Style celebrates its First Anniversary. We think it's an especially good time to celebrate our Anniversary as we present our very first Bridal issue.
It's been quite a year for weddings both here in Genoa City and the world beyond, and one of the most glamorous, sexy weddings so far has been that of our cover model, Lily Winter to dashing cosmetic executive Cane Ashby. A hometown girl, Lily's modeling career has taken her all over the world, and we count ourselves fortunate not only to land her for our First Anniversary Cover, but also getting she and her husband to graciously pose for our tongue-in-chic take on the moment in every new marriage when each partner realizes that storybook marriages are just that.
"In Every Dream Home, A Heartache" traces the inevitable disappointment and betrayal that seems to stalk every marriage, no matter how well conceived. And we won't lie to you – if any marriage is to survive, it's almost always we brides who must hold things together. It's the woman who must ignore the betrayals, the heartaches, the frustrations, the relentless advances of other women, the brazen sympathy ploys, and the rest of it.
It's the same in business. When Restless Style was founded last year, there were four principals involved. Of that original group, one year later, there's only myself, our fine staff, and you, our ever Restless, ever Stylish readers!
How can we thank you for making Restless Style a success against all odds? Well, one way, we think, is to give you the opportunity to download and own each and every cover photo we've created within the past year! It's our small way of saying "thank you so very much!"
And now, with no further ado, let the party begin!
XXX Phyllis

"Real style is more than just knowing how to shop," he says. "It's about seeing the potential in something plain, combining usual things in unusual ways and taking the time to experiment. It's the difference between Throwing Something On, and Putting Something Together."
"A good stylist can put together a great outfit using designer clothes and incredible jewelry," he says. "But a great stylist knows how to transform something run-of-the-mill into something one-of-a-kind."
