So, what does the Santa Barbara, CA-reared daughter of not one, but two ministers do, to keep herself looking so definitely not like "One of the Boys"?
"My appearance is part of my job," she answers. "And that's cool because it's like playing dress-up all the time."
And she means, all the time. Don't expect to see shots of this girl in sweatpants and a T-shirt on the Internet anytime soon. First of all, Perez Hilton loves her, so we're betting he would never, and second, she's way into the dress-up thing.
"I really try and keep it at a Dita Von Teese standard at all times," she says, referring to the always-meticulously-put-together Burlesque artiste. Citing one Hollywood Glamour Goddess channeling another Hollywood Glamour Goddess, Katy says "Even when I'm going to pick up something at the grocery store, I'm trying to look somewhat Mommy Dearest, without the craziness."
That's getting easier now that fashion designers are becoming increasingly eager to get their clothes on the rising singer/songwriter. "I went to this Chanel party for their new store and they gave me a dress to wear and a bag! I've never had one!" Still, she's always on the lookout for that thrift or vintage "find."
"I love vintage; cheap, unique, one-of-a-kind. Even though now designers are starting to send clothes, I still hunt for things. I found a little glittery bird's nest at a store that I will definitely wear in my hair."
She credits her parents with sparking her interest in Vintage. "My dad is a garage sale junkie and my mom was an antique dealer for years," she explains. "I'm like a magpie, I love all things shiny."
But even a budding pop diva needs an occasional break, what does KP wear when she's chilling? Hint: Don't expect her to be ready for a pickup game of touch football anytime soon.
"Onesies. I love wearing onesies. They used to call them rompers back in the Forties. Heart-shaped cut on the top and little shorts connected at the bottom, with awesome high heels, platforms and fruit accessories. I love earrings and bracelets shaped like fruit.
"I'll be wearing lots of them on tour. And if it gets really hot onstage, I'll have hot boys with palm frond fans fanning me down." What could be better than that?

i just saw the cover with Victoria on it and it looks good. Victoria is amazing. That was a good choice. I agree to put a hot man on the cover. I would love to see Restless Amber. Nick and Sharon belong together. When married people work together sometimes they dont get along. In this case Phyllis gets mad when Nick agrees with Sharon. I see the jealousy that Phyllis has over Sharon.
Katy Perry is the perfect cover model for Restless Style because she is the hottest thing out there right now! Katys voice is raw and real! Shes creative and has a modern and refreshing sense of humor!
Nick and Phyllis are the hottest couple and although the magazine business is an interesting concept, it should be just theirs.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm proud to be a Y&R fan. What a classy soap! And this ezine just puts a cherry on top of the sundae!!!

I love Young and the Restless I've been watching with my mom and grandma since I was like 5. The Mag is great. I think Phyllis is jealous of Sharon and Nick's relationship even though she's the homewrecker. J&P should be together and N&S cant wait til that happens. Nick and Sharon all the way.....

I think Restless Style was a great idea. It should be a real magazine. Think about the reader base that would already be there because of the show. I want Phyllis to get over Amber she is trying...and Nick just kiss Sharron and get back together! Been watching since I was a little girl with my mom and now my daughter and I watch. She is fourth generation Y & R.

I love the new Restless style magazine. I like the new idea for restless amber.. I like Sharon's ideas. I also like Nick's and Phyllis's. Jack needs to go back to Jabot.. Chloe needs to leave Jabot and go over to the magazine.. Chloe has alot of ideas and talent.. she could do good with the fashion side of dressing the model on cover page.. Keep up the good work. I love this idea...however I wish Jack would go. His style is way old...Sharon might be a bit to classic, however she is flexable. But this is fabulous!! Way to go Restless Style!

There's only one thing I would like to see changed, tone down the music as you can't hear what anyone says when you try to listen to the interviews. Keep up the good work.
