Though the Newman Gallery for Contemporary Art is by all measures a smashing success, Director Sabrina Costelana-Newman is still seen less as an art world visionary than as a cold-blooded opportunist who will stop at nothing to gain power, fame and prestige. Adrian Korbel reports from Genoa City...
With her willowy figure and graceful bearing, glamorous Sabrina Costelana-Newman is tailor-made for the competitive, cutthroat art world. Elegant, approachable and insatiably curious, she's the perfect addition to any social occasion, be it an afternoon barbecue in Bridgehampton or a black-tie affair in Basel, Switzerland.
Her ability to "travel well" is no small matter in a frantically-social, ever shifting business where alliances can be forged over cocktails, expanded over the entree and severed abruptly by desert. More than one artworld wag says the new Mrs. Newman owes her success more to her ability to spot, cultivate and exploit important people than her ability to spot, cultivate and support artists. Word on the street is that in addition to jetting across the globe, Costelana-Newman has also been around the block more than once.
"Look, Sabrina got herself a rich husband and with him, the resources to continue her quest to become the most powerful woman in the art world. And if Victor Newman's billions won't travel to the artists, I guarantee you, the artists will be happy to travel to Genoa City and Victor Newman's billions. Artists love money as much, if not more, than the next person. That old "starving artist" cliche went out with Andy Warhol in the 70s," a friend observes.
"I adore Sabrina," she continues, "but you don't think for a minute that she got this fancy art institute opened here because world-famous artists are dying to show in Genoa City do you? I mean, c'mon."

In Costelana-Newman's case, the "starving curator" cliche is just as shopworn, say friends. Unwilling to be quoted by name, for fear of offending her notoriously prickly new husband, more than Costelana-Newman herself, more than a few "friends" and art world figures characterize her as a tenacious, savvy survivor, more than willing to do whatever it takes to get ahead.
And it's that raw ambition, that has tongues wagging from Main Street to the Champs Elysee, where she is characterized as the art world's answer to Anna Nicole Smith; common in every aspect but her beauty and ambition. It's not an entirely fair comparison, for while Costelana-Newman may be seen as an opportunist, she is hardly given to the kind of public displays and clueless utterances Ms. Smith was. Still...
"Without me, she wouldn't even be a receptionist in an art gallery, she'd be a shopgirl in a store across the street from a gallery," says Phillippe Chanderot of the woman who curated his mid-career retrospective at Paris's famed Pompidou Center last year.
At the time, rumors flew fast and furious that Costelanawas more interested in Chanderot's other talents than she was in his painting. As one collector put it "Most artists have to wait until they've got one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel to get a one-person retrospective at a major museum like the Pompidou, and this guy gets one at what - 30? I'm sorry, but something was definitely not adding up there. Then you look at the two of them and you get it."
Chanderot himself openly admits to mixing business with pleasure with Costelana-Newman, and says she benefited as much, if not more, from the association.
To hear Chanderot tell it, the directors of Pompidou were so eager to get him into the museum that they were willing to allow a virtual unknown to pull the show together.
"Victor Newman is merely the latest Sabrina conquest," one in a series of carefully-calculated social and romantic dalliances, claims Chanderot, which she uses to further her career and consolidate power. Except that in his case, he claims, Costelana-Newman's calculations backfired.

"She started off by seducing me because she wanted to get me for the Pompidou and take the credit," he claims adding that it's he and not Newman, who holds the key to Costelana-Newman's heart. "And she became obsessed with me. She still is, and how can I say 'no' to someone as beautiful as that? Why would I let what is so clearly a marriage of convenience get in the way of a grand passion?"
And the fact that Costelana-Newman and Chanderot still see each other, along with several other faux pas, figures prominently in her strained relationship with Victoria Newman with whom she's hosted some of Genoa City's most entertaining get-togethers as well as important gala evenings.
Costelana-Newman's former best friend, Victoria Newman is, of course, the daughter of Victor Newman.
The road from the front gate of the estate the new Mrs. Sabrina Costelana-Newman shares with her considerably-older husband is approximately one quarter of a mile. She opens the front door and greets a guest warmly. "So glad you could come!" she exclaims, as she guides the visitor to the enormous sitting room to the left of the entrance hall.
While certainly expensively-furnished, the room with its ornate, period furnishings is not one you would expect a young, cutting-edge art curator/collector to receive guests in and in fact, it's not Costelana-Newmans' first choice, either.
Her husband, whom she married a month ago in a lavish affair that tied up not only Genoa City street traffic but also air traffic has lived in the house for many decades. "I'm hoping that once Victor trusts my taste, he'll allow me to re-decorate," she explains. "Nothing too extensive, just clean it up visually, brighten up the rooms, like that."
"And maybe add some new artists to the collection," she laughs. "I mean, John Singer Sargent is wonderful, as is Renoir, as is, well, okay, Frederick Remington wouldn't be my first choice, but nonetheless..." her voice trails off. After a few seconds, she brightens to say "There just so much exciting stuff that's been happening in art for the past thirty, but particularly the past twenty years."
Would she include any work by Phillippe Chanderot in the art update of her new home?
Costelana-Newman takes a deep breath. "Perhaps," she says slowly, choosing her words carefully. "If the work was appropriate and Victor liked it."
She seems aware that Chanderot is a hot topic and that his public pronouncements have done little to assuage the damage to her reputation. In an interview with Paris Match that was quoted in New York's Page Six, Chanderot said of their affair "I was involved with someone else at the time she approached me with the idea for a one-man show. You can guess what happened. I wasn't about to let that opportunity pass."

When this is mentioned to Newman, she momentarily flinches, then regains her composure. "Another compelling reason not to read the tabloids. Philippe said that?" She takes a deep breath. "Nice... Look, I realize he has detractors, but I truly believed in him as an artist."
The past tense is notable, especially when Newman is confronted with his statement, claiming that he is the "love of her life" something Newman's estranged friend Victoria has confirmed to friends as well.
Victoria Newman is reported to have told friends repeatedly that she was certain her father knew nothing about Sabrina's relationship with Chanderot, and would have canceled the wedding had he known the two have continued to meet in Genoa City.
A social observer, an intimate of the Newman clan said of the situation "It's messy to say the very least. Think of it; Victoria can't ever be certain that Sabrina didn't befriend her in the first place to get to her father. And she can't be happy that her father, one of the world's richest and most eligible bachelors couldn't cast his net a bit wider in the search for a wife - perhaps one who doesn't cheat on him with old beaus the first chance she gets. Meanwhile, how secure can Sabrina possibly feel knowing that her stepdaughter has all of her secrets? It's a soap opera, that's for sure. And who can be sure that Sabrina won't decide at some point that she's tired of being married to someone old enough to be her grandfather?"
One thing is certain; despite the faltering economy, the art business, with all its intrigue, duplicity and backbiting remains red-hot and Genoa City's piece of that action is about to get a lot hotter.

I love the Y&R! I am glad to see Victor happy and hope it see him happy for a long time. It is about time that true love comes his way.I hope that Sabrina is having Victory's baby! Nick needs to stop being a baby about everything with his Dad. Victor loves him and was just looking out for him. It is too late for Nick and Victory now and I don't blame Victor. It is time for Mrs. C to find a good man.
I thought that Victor could not have any more kids. Wasn't Ashley kid the last one after she stole his sperm. I am hoping that this comes out and Victor bring Sabrina down. We all know how he plays games!!!!
Y&R is the best soap opera.I just love it alot.i think that Jack was wrong for changing the article and now thats going to make adrain look bad when he comes back.sharon needs to leave jack because he keeps promising hes going to change never does and he just keeps telling lie after lie.he just wants to be in control.phyllis needs to stay out of daniels love life and mind her own business.i know thats her son but hes a man let him have his space.amber is just nasty.shes never sorry.she knew what phyllis was trying to do but she slept with adrain anyway.daniel and amber make a cute couple but she really messed up big time.i think that if daniel and amber dont get back together that him and colleen will get together.victoria needs to give sabrina a chance and just accept the fact that her father and sabrina are going to be together.if this takes victoria along to get over imagine when she finds out about the baby.????? im so happy that Cane and Lily are back together.they are the cutest couple.chloe needs to accept the fact that cane doesnt want her,that she needs to leave him alone because hes taken,and that no one can stand her.karen seems to not feel comfortable around tyra.i feel that something might happen with neil and tyra being how they live together. nikki needs to leave david because hes not right for her and hes going to go back to gambaling again. hes not right something is defintely wrong with him.i knew something was up with him when he first came to town.cant wait till monday there's bound to be more drama cause thats just what Y&R is.lolz
Look Victor had his vasectomy reversed. Sabrina seems fishy and out to gain her notority by being a Newman, that is really crappy the way he is treating his own children when we ALL know they had no part in the article being changed.As for Gloria, let her be I love the craziness she brings and as for Lauren, she is great and so all her family and Michaels...Phyllis, I love her character excpet for the way she is treating Amber. LET THEM BE HAPPY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, and Colleen did not want Adrian so BUTT out....

I'm a little confused,didn't Victor have a vasectomy? Do you think Sabrina is pulling a fast one? Is the baby Victors? Lily,Cane,,Sharon and Neil have to go.they seem to have the idea that they never do anything wrong.Jack definitly couldn't be John's son.I'm hoping how soon Nicky finds out about David.Gloria needs some serious counseling,but I don't think she should have to spend any time in jail.Maybe community service.Jack is untrustworthy and Nick should see what he can do about discouraging Jack to stay with the magazine.Jack is a disaster waiting to happen.Maybe it has already.Victor is cutting his nose off to spite his face especially were his children are concerned.
I love Y&R it's the only soap opera I've ever watched & it's the best! I like Sabrina and I too think Victoria needs to give her a chance. David is a loser and Nikki needs to get rid of him asap. He killed that Skye girl and he's had a fake identity the whole time! I too would love for Nick and Sharon to get back together-they just seem like they are meant for eachother. Jack is always up to no good just like Phylis. I think Neil & Tyra are going to fall for eachother and then Karen will be out of the picture. I guess I'll have to wait and find out. When are Victor and Sabrina going to tell everyone she's pregnant???
What is wrong with Victor...Adam and Sabrina have ONLY been around for months, his children haven been there through it all..so much for loyalty, he's getting played! Jack is wack, he pretends to want to be good but is so selfish!Sharon is a wimp, Phyillis needs a hobby besides Daniel's love life, Amber is always sorry and really needs to just be single, but Chloe needs to be hit by the reality bus-she's psycho and disturbes the balance in Geneo City. Neil better watch out for Tyra cause she seems suspect (and Karen knows it)..Nikki is plain dumb! David Chow is "Dog Chow" how much more does he have to lie to you? Nikki should get with Paul! Sabrina...boring and self righteous. Victoria...wah, get over it all already! I love Micheal, Lauren..boring..and I love the new Gloria and Jeff together...I think!
I believe that Victor is either stupid or just too old, if he forgot the fact that he can't have anymore children. While Nicky and Ashley were running around stealing Victor's sperm from one another, Ashley won of course. So what happened did they save some over for Sabrina and slip it to her when we weren't watching. LOL

Love Sabrina-I think the relationship with Victor works well.
Hate Chloe-She seriously has to go. I can't stand her lies and the way she goes about things.
David Chow is going down-it's only a matter of time before the entire truth about him is revealed including the fact that he killed GeeMin (sorry 'bout spelling). What about seeing Nikki & Paul hook up for good????
Love Lily & Cane together-they are young & refreshing. Nice to see Y&R show a young girl pursuing her education while in love and handling an extremely hectic job.
I would LOVE to see Gloria go down. It really needs to come out that see tampered with the face cream. She'll go to jail, Jack can reclaim Jabot (which will thrill him to death) thereby leaving Nick & Phyllis to make Restless Style the success it can be...without being a gossip magazine!
Amber...where do ya start? Never really cared for her, but like her & Daniel together - they work! Hate what she did to him though.

Gonna show that I haven't been watching for years & years since I didn't know about Victor's vasectomy, but I'm gonna guess that it was never actually done. Kinda late in the Baby Newman storyline now for anything to be said....
My gosh am I the only guy who watches Y & R. I tell you I have been a fan since I was a little boy. My mother got me hooked when I was four years old. Now I have this show recorded and ready for me to watch when I get home from work. I love the article on Sabrina. She has some weaknesses which everyone has but knowing that she now has Victor's baby will toughen her up. I still think there is more to Sabrina that we don't know. Maybe Sabrina's mother has a little more to add to this story. Keep on doing what your doing Y & R. Your loyal guy viewer...
This is the first time I have ever written a post/fan letter to a "Soap Drama". I am 67 years old and have watched the Young and the Restless for years and years. It is the main one that I watch now!!
I missed the program today - because of a Dr.'s appt. but read today's Update on line a short time ago. (Even my husband watches it with me part-time.) He has always been interested in Victor, especially. What great actors and actresses - EVERY one of them!! It was a joy to see Kathryn Chancellor (sorry I can't remember your name right now and I always liked to see your actor son on TV, too!)receive that Day-Time Emmy award!! She really deserved that and her comments after receiving the award were funny and great!
Eric Braden was in Myrtle Beach, SC,recently and I so wanted to go and see and meet him but I had just sprained my knee and couldn't go and stand and wait to meet him and get his autograph!!:-)
Victor seems like an eternal character and never seems to age much! He was in some older movies, when he was younger,- sometimes playing a "bad" character in one or more, too - and occasionally we have seen him in one of those, on TCM, also!
Victor is Victor and is true to the character that he is. It's too bad that he cut Nick and Victoria out of his will, but I can understand how angry he is about the article, because they were not responsible for the changes in the Restless Style Magazine article about Sabrina! That Jerk Jack the Rat (a name I thought up!)was responsible and he seems so pleased with himself it is sickening! (Great acting!) I'm really surprised that Sharon would stay with him after he lied to her, again! I really thought Nick and/or Victor would knock Jack's smile off his face but it was good that they didn't! Nick is not through with Jack and Victor said the most wounding thing to Jack that he could (even better than a knock-out by Victor who could easily have done it!) by declaring that Jack is not anything like his dad, who was a very honorable man. Jack repents and we think that he is going to truly reform and then he does something dirty again like changing that article. He has absolutely no business morals at all and has put the almighty dollar above what should have been an easy decision for him by keeping that article as Adrian had written it! But - like some business men do, he chose to do what was wrong to get more sales of the magazine and even succeeded! Sharon told him that and I'm surprised she didn't just walk out on him when she discovered what he had done to the business owned by her, Nick and Phyllis! (What a mean trick for Jack to play on Adrian, also!) Jack will get what he deserves sooner or later though if he keeps up this deceit! I think he wants to run Restless Style by himself and be the only CEO because he hates not owning Jabot any more.
Sabrina is so beautiful and gentle and I hope is as sweet as she seems to be! I think Victor loves her as much as he loved Nikki but just not as long!! He was so lonely before Sabrina came on the scene!
With a new Newman baby on the way it will be interesting how that will all play out. I keep being afraid that something will upset Sabrina enough that she will miscarry - even her own mother treated her terribly the day of her wedding to Victor. I sure hope that will NOT be the case because Victor is SO excited about that new baby coming - as well as Sabrina - and it has already seemed to give him new life. Victor, Jr. is complex and I think wants to have a good relationship with his newly discovered father. He seems to have learned how to please Victor at work and is able to change when it is needed in the business. Sometimes he is judgemental of Sabrina though and he is certainly taken with Paul's daughter - and I am worried about what has happened to Sky! I was happy when Victoria and Sabrina seemed to have declared a truce - and then that terrible article came out! Victoria should forgive Sabrina because she married Victor, and move on with her life with JT and her beautiful son! Victoria is SO blessed just to be alive and have her son doing so well, also! I think both Nick and Victoria have been hurt by the divorce of Victor and Nikki and no matter how old a "child" is that still affects their lives negatively! Nikki is deeply in love with David but I'm afraid he is really bad news!! I keep thinking that perhaps David has a duel personality and IS a killer and will eventually try to kill Nikki as well, if she does something to made him mad or scared enough! He may try to kill Nikki regardless of whether he has a split personality or not! Victor is very loyal to family and that is why he is concerned about Nikki and he is genuinely concerned about David, but he may have to back off because Nikki has made her own choices. I wonder if Victor and Nikki could ever get back together now. Who knows but your great writers! Something terrible would have to happen to Sabrina to have that happen! You never know with The Y&R and that is what keeps me watching! I really like Nick and Phyllis together and I'm happy Nick finally got his memory back when the anniversary of Cassie's death came and Nick was hurt in that car accident. Noah is just a precious and good looking young boy and is growing up so fast! He's just a great kid and is loved by everyone in his big family - even Jack loves him, which is the only redeeming quality I can think of about Jack right now! Jack's dad needs to "appear" to him, again, and tell Jack just how wrong he has been with regard to Restless Style! (Great acting by the actor who plays Jack's dad and the actor/imitator man he played, too) Phyllis needs to get her act together about Daniel or she will lose his respect altogether! She was so wrong to post that picture on her PC and make Amber think that it was a true picture of Daniel with some "groopie" - AND she kept Daniel's e-mails to Amber hidden, also! Terrible behavior for a mom even if she does think that Amber is wrong for Daniel! I hope Daniel and Amber get back together. For the first time Amber told the truth to Daniel about her mistake with Adrian and even Adrian told Daniel that was true! Amber has changed for the better and that is due in a large part to her friendship with Kay! I think Daniel and Amber really love each other and that Daniel should forgive Amber for making a stupid mistake!
Jana and Kevin make a good couple - and are really so much alike. Kevin was so loyal to Jana once he realized her earlier actions against him and Colleen were due to Jana's brain tumor! - And he helped her when she was in prison when Phyllis was, too! I hope they get married and live happily together - they both deserve that but I wish Jana would throw away the Wiji (Sp.?) Board - those are dangerous!
I love Lily and Cane together and I hope they end up getting married and have beautiful children someday!!:-) Chloe is a lier and very deceitful and I wonder, if she is pregnant, if the baby is Cane's anyway. She says she seduced him in the car when they were both drunk but she could have been with some other guy just before that would be bearing HIS child! I hope Lily keeps telling Chloe where to go - and that Cane does, too! Somewhere away and fast - but she has just been hired by Restless Sytle so that probably won't happen right away! Neil and Karen are great together but Neil should realize that having Lily's adopted brother's (name- right now? - it's late!) Aunt and her daughter, who can sings SO beautifully live with him would naturally put a strain on Karen and his relationship! I keep thinking that Dru will return some day yet but I know that her real life person/actress had been campaigning heavily for Hillary Clinton. She was always great on the Dick Van Dyke Dr./Detective TV drama, too and, she is a beautiful ballerina in real life as well!!
Gloria and Jeff are made for each other - both of them crazier than hoot owls sometimes and I figured for a long time that they would eventually remarry when I knew that they both really loved each other. Little Richard was great at their marriage ceremony in Vegas, too! I would love to see Jeffrey and Gloria be able to buy back Jabot stock until they own the majority of the shares and give Jill her due!! Jill is, also, plotting with Brad - another very vicious and vindictive man - to bring Kathryn down and take over Jabot all together. Jill has gone through some awful things in the past and it was wonderful when Cane came and was found to be her long lost son!!
I used to like Brad a long time ago but he has become such a jerk (and seduced Sharon and wouldn't leave her alone when she was so vulnerable) and treated Victoria pretty terrible, too! Brad like so many in the story line has a few good points but then turns and becomes ruthless and power hungry. He even turned Colleen away from him from being so overprotective of her and was wrongly mad at Adrian over his book about the Jewish heritage and history in Brad's true family. That was a confusing story line but I think it is not entirely over yet. Adrian really loved Colleen and I think she loved him, too! But...........they all sleep around tooo much with so many people over time and especially when they get drunk at parties. Pays not to drink too much most of the time!! Summer, Nick and Phyllis daughter is so precious and they both love her so much as well as Noah! Nick is an awesome Dad and doesn't want to treat Noah like he feels Victor treated him sometimes when he was young. I think I've covered just about everybody - except Michael, Loren and their sweet son. They are a, hopefully, together forever couple and family! I hope that Sheila is really dead and gone forever!!
I hope Michael can meet his real father someday and perhaps he is not the awful person they think he may be because of their investigations. Michael has changed tremendously over time - and I remember the awful things he did to Kristine - "Cricket". Will she ever come back? It was a huge loss when her father - in real life - Bill (?) Bell died! First Kristine was with Danny and then later with Paul and was at one time a big help to Victor.She was an awesome lawyer. Will Jeffrey be able to get the bad Jabot cream from his Korean old girlfriend and destroy it yet?! I think Michael was great insisting that the cream be returned and destroyed before he would help his mother and Jeffrey buy Jabot stocks! I hope Jeffrey is really sincere now that he intends to return it to prove his present love for Gloria. Jeffrey and Gloria provide some great laughs in the story line and they are really hillarious in their various antics and both are smarter and wiser than serpents. Gloria's hair and clothes, etc. always look pretty and smart butwhen she was fighting with Jeffrey it looked almost like Carilla Deville's hairdo in "101 Dalmations"!! That white/gold streak in the front part of her hair looked awful on her!!
I better get off here and get back to my "Real Life and World"!:-)I will continue to watch and/or update myself at the website when I miss a show but I'll always think that the Y & R is the very best daytime drama on CBS Daytime TV!!:-) Thanks to all of the actors and actresses and great writers for continuing on with great story lines and the VERY Best on TV!!:-) You have been a part of my life when our three children were growing up and now when my husband and I are happily retired. My husband still works part-time though two to three morning a week.We have three wonderful children, 2 handsome sons and a beautiful daughter - and eight special and wonderful grandchildren:-)
There were a very few times when I got disgusted with a certain happening or character line but I have always come back to watching Y&R as many days that I possibly can!

I love the show. But some times I get annoyed. I think It seems strange that Adam and Sabrina come into town around the same time. I think Adam knew Sabrina and she is in with him to take Victor to the cleaners. Adam was really hurt when his mom told him who his real dad was. I think this is payback. And he is taking his siblings down too. I think gloria needs to be found out like yesterday.I am sick and tired of her high and mighty attitude. I think they should find out the FACE CReam scandel now. And take down Glorias kids too for covering for her.I used to like Lauren, but no longer, she not the same. SHe fits in with Gloria's sons now. How can Lauren change like that. I think Kevin and Micheal are no better than Gloria, they should all go to jail, and Paul could raise laurens baby. gloria changed for a little while , with that Karma thing, but she is going back to evil ways. How come John's ghost can't see that Gloria had everything to do with the FACECREAM scandel. He only sees what he want's to see. Jack is getting a backbone again, but why has he not kicked Gloria to the curb.Gloria's family has the run of the house. No scupples in that family. Move on already with that facecream. I think that Ashley should come back when Gloria gets charged. She can marry Victor. She is his only true love..can still see that.
WOW. I love reading about the rich and famous of Genoa City. From time to time I drive by the Chancellor estate and the Newman compound and I wonder what goes on there. I read the Sabrina article with great interest. I have seen her at Crimson Lights and eavesdropped on more than one of her conversations with other players mentioned in your excellent article. I heard thru the grapevine that she was pregnant with Victor, but I now have my doubts reading about her rendezvous with her former lover. And that mother of hers.. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Thank you for your excellent magazine and keep the stories about our city's rich and famous comimg. I think Restless Style is here to stay and has become my favorite webzine.
I have been watching since 1986 and i sometimes forget details, like the vasectomy! I knew Ms. Sabrina was to good to be true, I should have guessed. I hope that Nick and Victoria get their heads right and start seeing things from their father's point of view, Nick has never taken business serious and Vicky is always acting spoiled. Y&R has been my show for MANY years. But I am concerned about the vasectomy thing... or should I say CONFUSED!! But anyway, I love the fact they have added the Tyra and Ana Characters... but can they give them a STORYLINE instead of a concert everytime they get the camera on them...its almost as if the writers dont know what to do with them. But there is definitely most excitement for us ahead.....

I have been watching the Y&R since the first day it came on 35 years ago. It use to come on for a half of hour,I was in my last year of high school and I would rush home every day to watch the Y&R with my mother.My daughters name is Nicole aka nikki and she is 34 years old. I watched the chacters when they were younger and now they are older and so am I. I watched the characters change, die and come back. I really enjoy the Y&R but my favorite character in this show was Sheila.Sheila was the best,she was the cats pjs.Sheila always was wicked and she gave lauren fever.She was crazy as a bedbug,slick as gease and most of all she was wicked.Until this day one cannot tell me that Sheila is no t still in the show.I do not believe that Sheila died so easily and got hold to Laurens son Scott once more.Sometimes I wonder about Phylis,somehow I think that she is Sheila.

First of all, I love Jack, but he went way too far with this. It's just wrong to bash someone AND a family. GET RID OF CHLOE!!! She is a pain in the butt and Cane and Lily are happy together and need to try to have another child. As for Sharon and Jack, they make me sick. I am ready to see them split, along with Nikki and David. Victor needs to stay out of Nikki's life because she made her own choice even after everyone told her differently. I simply love Sabrina.... she carries herself with such grace and class. Both she and Victor make a dynamic couple. They provide a balance for one another and it's amazing to watch! I think it is hilarious that Jack printed this article!! And I also think that he is 150% correct in everything said. Sabrina is nothing but a money grubber and Victor was stupid enough to fall in her web!!! I do not like and have not liked her since day one!! I think she is using him to make her fame and fortune and she needs to go back where she came from. I know (as well as anyone) that as soon as Nikki finds out the truth about "David" that she and Victor will be back together. That's the way they roll!! I am an avid Y & R fan and really think that Victor could have done much better by marrying someone his own age. I think that Sabrina is a beautiful person and although age is just a number Victor should have known better. It would also be wonderful for them to allow Victor's memory to comeback to the point and time when he had the vasectomy. That would add for a wonderful reuniting of Victor & Nikki. David is something else when is Nikki going to open up her desparate eyes and see that he is a gold digger. Katherine befriending Sabrina against Nikki is very back stabbing. I believe that Jack was wrong for spreading this information throughout the world. That's cruel and for a person to do something like that he can't have a heart. Victor is right John will be very disappointed in Jack. This is something that John would not approve of. Also Phyllis needs to lay off Sharon due to did we not forget that Phyllis slept with Sharon's husband and Sharon is more of a woman to accept the things that Phyllis has put her through. This is turning out to be a great storyline!! I recall Victor having a vascetomy years ago . . . but does he remember?? With his episodes with epilepsy, Victor may have forgotten! Something will happen soon that triggers that memory and allow him to remember (that is if Nikki, Victoria or Nick don't remind him first!)

Phyllis has always been my favorite character, until recently. I can't believe after everything she has been through in her life, she is treating poor Amber so badly. It's just not like Phyllis and completely out of character for her to be so not cool.
Please bring Amber and Daniel back together. I love Amber so much, I can relate to her. I can't bear to see her in pain anymore. Please keep her character happy.
Can Jack not help himself? Can he not at least try to play fair? His actions contradict Nick's principles, I hope Nick and the rest find a way to get him out. Love Restless Style though.
And hey Sabrina is just too good to be true. Something's amiss...And leave Nick and Phyliss I love them. Sharon needs to leave Jack though and find herself a good man-not Nick- he aint available. Boy o boy are we young and restless... I luv it!!!
Everyone is asking about Victor's vasectomy well it did not take that eas the whole question surrounding Nick's birth there were questions if Victor was the father and he was. As for Victor and Sabrina well if they make each other happy than Victoria and others should back off after all Victoria had an affair with J.T. while married to Brad and was not sure who the father of ther baby was. Also Whol made Sharon into this saintly figure always giving just the right advice - she slept around on Nick before Cassie died yet she uses that as the reason against Nick for sleeping with Phyllis and their marriage falling apart - I say go Nick and Phyllis you make a great couple. One thing Nikki is supposed to be so smart yet she cannot read the clues that David did not nor will ever give gambling. I am glad that Victor is with someone else!
Believe me when I say this. Sabrina seems to be a very respected, and class young woman, but on the contrary, it was Victoria who had Sabrina stay with Victor in the first place. the two of them spent time together, and on thing led to another. I don't think Sabrina came there seeking Victor, but Jack Abbott is truly a slimeball for this article, and he forgot about the scandals that he was involved in. Why don't somebody write about that. That too wiil sell the magazine.
I think what Jack did was awful and Sharon is no better than he is.what Victor did to Victoria and Nick by cutting them out of his will just shows how misguided he is.I hope all three get whats coming to them.
Sabrina will be in the shock of her life when she finally meets the "real" Victor Newman. As far as the vasectomy goes, Victor has had several of them, none has ever taken. He had one with his first wife, Julia. When she became pregnant, he locked up her one night stand in the basement and tortured him for weeks. He even went so far as to feed him a "rat". He got Paul to feed his deranged "brother in law" while he went out of town on business. Luckily for the guy, Paul help release him. Julia had a miscarriage and Victor had a DNA test on the fetus and found out that the baby was his. He had another one before hooking up with a "stripper" named Nikki. He fixed her up with a YOUNG guy and convinced her that the baby(Victoria) was the other guy's because he had had a vasectomy. You know when you keep doing something like that over and over again and it obviously does not take then you have to wonder"does he like getting a vasectomy?"
I personaly LOVE Sabrina. I think that Vicky needs to grow up and be happy for her dad, she should be more worried about Nicky and her stupid little thing than who her dad is with. I support Daneil and Amber 100% and I think that Phyllis needs to stop treating her son like hes still 5 and butt out. I hope Sharon and Jack break up and She and Nick get back together. I dont like Phyllis or Jack so they would be perfect for each other. I think that Sharon and Nick are a GREAT couple.

Well' Jack is on his old tricks again. And for Sabrina she is hidding to much of her past to be true. Victor will not unless he his blindly in love with her. And yes how about his vascetomy???? Maybe he forgot because of all what happen in his live since, but hopew he wakes up before he loose it all. I have been looking at Y&R since the beginning and love it. Hope also tha Nikky will wake up too. Victor & her belong together. And for Victor to take out his son & daughter from his will is crazy, he knows his kids and just met Sabrina even if she his is new wife he never did with the others. And I hope for the first time Nicolas & Victoria will show there father that they where with and not against him. Newman's fight will start and someone will pay hope that his not Nick & Victoria. Love your magazine and hope that will stay long.
