RS: What advice would you give to RS readers who, well, let's be blunt, don't have the money to buy Birkin bags and don't live in Bel Air?
KH: That's easy. What I have is nice, but you don't need it to look great. Anyone can go to the Gap and get a great pair of khaki slacks and a good, fitted T-shirt, and pair it with a nice watch and a good pair of shoes and look fabulous. And it doesn't have to be the most expensive watch, just a nice-looking one and a good pair of shoes, which also do not have to be the most expensive. There's lots of great stuff out there that isn't super-expensive. Everyone can look great.
RS: RS readers want to know what Kathy Hilton has to have in her bag in order to get through her day.
