One dress, five options...
One of the most remarkable things about Paris is how pulled-together its female citizens look. No question, Parisiennes know their Fashion. And while there are certainly those Lucky Few who can sweep into some couturier's atelier each season, big checkbook in hand, ready to order a series of outfits each more sumptuous than the next, the average Parisian woman has to watch her pennies just as carefully as her sisters anywhere else.
And yet, every weekday morning, thousands of Parisian women emerge from their homes in neighborhoods fashionable and not-so, looking like a million Euros. "Dressing well, and appropriately, is an innate part of French, female culture," remarks RS Style Director George Kotsiopolous. "The French are still very particular about self-presentation," he observes. "Mothers take a lot of time to teach their daughters about grooming and dressing and the results are obvious."
What may not be so obvious, he observes, is that an incredibly well-dressed Parisian woman may be working with as little as three or four outfits total, where her American cousin may have 15, 20 or more. "What a lot of French women will do is save up for one incredibly well-made, well-tailored dress or suit that they can then wear a million different ways," George explains.
"I have one incredibly chic friend in Paris whose wardrobe essentially consists of one tweed skirt, two blouses, one jacket, one pair of wool trousers, one pair of jeans, some cotton T-shirts and one classic Little Black Dress. It's all very well-made and meticulously-tailored, and she always looks like an heiress."
"She told me 'I don't need a lot of pieces. I buy really high-quality, simple clothes that I never get tired of wearing. They always look good and I can dress them up or down as the occasion - or my mood - demands. When I was younger and I literally had no money, I would actually wear the exact same dress five days in a row, with different shoes and accessories and no one even noticed!"
That's a comforting thought - especially for those of us for whom looking good is a source of succor in the midst of a dreary economy (or job search). With George directing, RS put the Theory of Parisian Chic to the test: One simple (but by no means plain) Dolce and Gabbana black wool sheath was pressed into service and combined with accessories, hairstyles and makeup schemes ranging from Sexy to Serious to Cerebral.

I agree the Sharon thing is a bit much, but all I really want is Nick to dump Phyllis and get back with Sharon, then all would be right in the world. I do love Amber and Daniel together and of course Cane and Lilly. The Neil thing, I don't really care for, he just got married and he's already cheating??? Isn't there some sort of grace period for newlyweds where there isn't any cheating?
This thing you guys going with Sharon is a bit over the top. I understand that she is going thru something right now but making her sleep with Billy after drinking is a bit much but understandable with things with Jack and Nick. She loves Nick to death but she knows she can not have him but Jack is a different nut to crack you don't know if he is true about his feeling for Sharon or is he just being old Jack. Now with the Baby Delia, let Billy grow up and let him understand that when you have a child in the world all the bs the you have done in the past stops now and you start being a grown up and acting like you want to care for this child. She is not aware of what is going on about her but one thing for sure is that no matter who raises her they will have to think of themselves last and think more of what is best for the child, then everything else will fall into place .
Chloe and Billy are the two who needs to grow up and with the new baby that might help both of them and if Cane and Lilly seems to be more stable and if the win with raising their new baby girl.

I cannot see why most everyone hates Jack, For I think Victor has just as much cheating, coniving ways as Jack. Both have some good & both have bad issues or ways. Just look at how Victor talks to any and everyone he either loves or hates; Is the way he does and talks to his own kids, x-wives any way to talk to ones he loves, but then usually comes through for them in their pinches or needs. Just for the record let me say that I like Jack and dislike Victor, but was glad to see Victor to withold the 'lawsuit' on Brad until they found out what happened to him, but am now wondering if he will continue to keep quiet for Abby, Colleen and any others involved.
Am waiting along with everyone else for MS. C to come back on the real thing.
I also would like to see Sharon & Nick and Jack & Phyllis get back together, but probably will never happen..
Even through he deserved it Adam got arrested in jail in front of his father Victor. All Victor could do is hold his head down and all Heather could do is cry because Adam used her. Victor was good to the bartender and his daughter, who came back to G.C. with Paul. Heather might be good at what she does but she is not as good as her father Paul. But I must admit Heather sat Adam up real nice. Now I am waiting for Adam to give Jacks sexual addicted butt up and I am waiting for the bartender to identifie Jack for being in Mexico with Adam. I think that Ms.C. ring is going to go through a couple of hands before anyone gets arrested but I hope she hurrys up and get her memory back dont you?
Kudos to todays episode! It was great seeing Adam get arrested. He will not be able to talk himself out of that. It was good to see the bartender and his daughter from Mexico. That is just the witness they need to nail Jack and Adam. This is going to be good when they come to arrest Jack. My hands are so sore from clapping all this week. Seeing Gloria and Adam getting what is due them.
Now as far as Jeffrey. I think his days are numbered. He is such a sleeze. He has the moral conviction of a chain saw. He has no feeling at all. Does he think Gloria is not going to implicate him in the blackmail scheme he has been holding over her? Can't wait until they come for him. I hope Gloria isn't crazy enough to sign over her shares to him.
I am so glad Phyllis made a stand against Sharon today. Phyllis has her faults and I don't like to see her withholding information from Nicholas concerning Jack,but maybe it's not needed since the bartender from Mexico is in Geneoa City and was witness to both Jack and Adam's conspiracey against Victor Neman. He even threw Jack and Adam out of his bar/cafe. He knew what they were up to no good.
Can't wait to see the upcoming epsidoes. It would be something if Mrs. C married Murphy. I think they will make a cute couple. Jill will probably lose her mind over that.
Phyllis I wanted to write to you to make a suggestion on a possible future magazine cover and it is the area of full figured I am a full figured girl and I love to dress and look good in me clothes also could you possibly in the future setup to where views can win a photo shoot in Restless style and make up from Jabot Cosmetics I think that would really be fun. Now do you think that Ms.C will get arrested because she sold the ring that Nicki reported stolen.Jeffery is as dirty as used dish water now I just dont see Jeffery running the business,but I can see Jeffery stealing a lot of money from the company.I dont know what Jeffery is doing but Jack and Jeffery are not going to get along at all.Catherine is going to get her memory back and Murpy is going to be the new man in her life.Jeffery is going all over town telling people that Gloria had the pampered face cream in her bathroom cabinet all of this time. Now what did I tell you? Billy is not going to tell the truth Jack is going to tell. Jack has been taking care of Billy all of this time just so he could use Billy in the long run. I had forgotten that Billy did go off to work with the poor. I hope eventually those good qualities he has will come out of him and he will step up to the plate to take claim to his daughter.

I'm worried for Michael and his wife because they knew about the tainted face cream. Jeffrey is such a creep he might implicate Michael and his wife, saying that they were aware of it. He might make a deal with the DA if Gloria implicates him in a blackmail. Michael will lose his license to practice law and possible jail time along with his wife. This is really going to be a big mess when all the truth comes out.
If Mrs. C ever gets her memory back and remembers that she had $75,000.00 and left it with Kevin, there will be a big investigation into that. Kevin's wife just got out of jail not too long ago. Now she and Kevin will be in trouble because of the stolen money. Michael's father will be in trouble because of the new found money he has. Looks like everyone is going to jail. Will there be anybody left in the story?? This is unreal. What is going to happen next?
As far as Chloe is concerned, yes she is in a loveless marriage. I just can't stand seeing her get away with this, and taking Lilly's man. I hope somehow Lilly and Cane will get back together again, but I don't see how that is going to happen unless Billy tells the truth.
Can't wait until the next episode. I'm wondering what is going to happen to Jack and Phyllis? I really don't like what Phyllis is doing right now. I know she is worried about losing her husband. The fact that she is withholding information that could help clear up this case with Victor, is making me very nervous for her marriage to Nick. I really don't want to see Nick back with Sharon. I don't think he is going to be happy with her, but I think Nick secretly still loves Sharon. Does anyone feel as I do?
Billie Abbott has a good and beneficit side. I would like to see that side come out. He went off to work with the poor after the ordeal with his cousin.
Now now I think that Lily is doing alright she is just a little lonely.But I agreed with Lily when she told Chloe that she and Caine were friends before they were lovers and she stole him away.Lily dont have to leave town nor stop going places because Caine is there. Now I dont feel sorry for Lily I feel sorry because she is free and clean of any wrong doings. I feel sorry for Chloe because she is a unhappy,preganat,cheat.
Chole is in a sexless marriage with a man that she does not love and he does not love her. She stole something that she does not want. And most of all she has got Billy boy on her back because he is not going to give up. Cane and Lily are going to get back together thanks to Jack. Now that is the mistake that Billy made, he told Jack about Chloe and the baby and Billy is all Jack has in the business. Jack throught he was going to be in the back seat of the business with Billy driving but Asley overrode that. Than Jack thought he was going to be in back seat because Asely is his sister but she told Jack he wouldnt be in the back because he was going to be in the car lol. Gloria thought she was going to be in the drivers seat but good ole jealous Jeffery laid in his hospital bed and had Tyras boyfriend give her a ticket to a jail cell. But Jeffery is not thinking because Gloria has Micheal and his father so if Jeffery is so jealous whats he going to be next because now the whole story is going to come out,blackmail and all. We havent seen Jill but we know that she is still around waiting to get back in the drivers seat. And all is going to backfired when everyone finds out that Ms.C comes back. Now the story is getting interesting again. And dont forget Victor is not finished with Jack and Adam. What do you think?
What a powerful show today! It was so good seeing Gloria get what's coming to her. I've been waiting a long time for justice to be done in her case. I even stood up out of my chair and clapped as if I was at a Broadway Show. "WELL DONE."
Now it looks like finally Victor Newman will get a break and the truth will be known. I cannot wait until Jack gets what is coming to him. That snake and I use to think he had a good streak in him "WRONG."
Now since the truth is being found out about everyone, isn't it time to give Lilly a break?? It doesn't look good that she is in the dog house all the time. It gives the wrong impression. Why is Chloe allowed to get away with a lie and put another man child on Lilly's ex.? It is sending the wrong signal. If it cannot be changed, then at least let Lilly met the type of man that suits her and get married and have a good life.
I don't know what to say now that Billy is refusing to claim that he is the father of Chloe's baby. So what does that mean for Lilly? It's clearly seen that Chloe does not love Caine and Caine does not love Chloe. I can't see love budding in that marriage.
I think Lilly is getting the short end of the stick in this story. Isn't it time to give her a break and let her find true love?? Hopefully not with Billy. Does anyone feel the same as I do?
Now,now we heard it out of Chloe's mouth,she is not in love with her babys daddy Cane.She is in love with her babys daddy brother who is Billy.And I think that Billy loves Chloe and I think that Billy is going to Cane that Chloe is carrying his baby.Cane and Chloe dont know Billy.But we all know that Billy is dirty he has a lot of his uncles Jacks qualitys.
I am so frustrated with Lilly. Why doesn't she leave Caine and Chloe alone? Instead of hanging around like a sick puppy she needs to move on with her life. This is getting very boring. Chloe and Caine are married, that's what she wanted because of the baby. SO BACK OFF AND GET ON WITH YOUR LIFE!!
As far as Chloe having Billy's baby, I don't think that is ever coming to light. I don't think Billy is a stand up guy that wants to take responsibility for a baby. He doesn't love Chloe, so I can't see him getting stuck with her. In fact I feel sorry for Caine and the baby.

Well, well that Jill finally got hers. They had to team up on Jill in order to do the company take over. Now it is a shame that Jack brought Billy in on the deal and made Billy turn against his mother and brother.That Gloria and Jack were talking real trash and did you see Choles and Canes faces they were in total shock.Brad and his daughter were sitting back laughing at Jill and Cane.Jill has enough money to sit back and relax but would she needs something to do and sitting in the house with Esther.But one thing we know is that there is going to be a fight to the finish on this issue. Now, now the storyline is getting better because it was getting a little borning to me. Now where in the h--- is Yolanda and why is she doing such mean things to her sister Tyra and her daughter Anna. How could Yolanda cause so much confusion and not even should her face. If she is so crack free and clean than let us see her.What does Yolanda want money or is she mad because Tyra did not get Neil.We all know that it is not for love of the child because I find it hard to believe that Yolanda loves Anna.And all that I can say is that I will be glad when Ms, C. gets her head together and everyone finds out that they are not rich.Will Esther go back to being the household maid,that should make Chloe have a hissy fit.Billy is working his way up on Lily which is not right and it is not going to be a good relationship and I think that Lily should know that because she knows Billy.

I dont think its fair that Phyllis is sitting on this information about Jack and not telling Nick. Phyllis is fighting for her man. --> What women wouldn't? But Nick would never forgive her for with holding that information that can free Victor. She just don't know it yet but she is pushing Nick and Sharon back together. Jack and Sharon should be divorced. Sharon has given Jack many chances. How much is Sharon gonna take before she explodes.?
