Super-dry, fresh Ginger Ale

Ingredients:

2 cups of chopped fresh ginger root
Chopped zest of one half a lemon
1 cup of honey
Sparkling water

Into 4 cups of boiling water, add the chopped ginger root and the zest and let the mixture come to a boil for ten minutes or so. Add the honey and continue to boil for another 15 minutes - you want to be left with 3 cups of liquid. Once your liquid is reduced and cooled, strain it into a container and refrigerate it, in a closed container, until cold. To serve: use 1/4 cup of ginger syrup to one cup of sparkling water. For sweeter flavor, add more honey.

Green Tea Mojito

Ingredients:

4-5 fresh mint stems per glass
Juice of 1/2 lime per glass
1/2 oz agave nectar
4 oz. unsweetened, brewed green tea
4 oz. sparkling water

Each drink is made in the same glass it's served in. Start with the mint, and carefully smash four or five mint sprigs with the agave nectar (the pieces of mint are supposed to float in the drink). Add 4 or 5 ice cubes. Squeeze 1/2 lime over the ice. Add four ounces of sparkling water and then the green tea. Garnish with a mint sprig. If you prefer a sweeter drink, increase the agave nectar.

Cucumber/Orange Infusion

Ingredients:

Eight thin slices of fresh cucumber
Eight thin slices of non-navel orange at room temperature.
32 oz. water and ice cubes

Outrageously easy and outrageously refreshing; infusions are practically sugar-free and super-healthy. Combine cucumber and orange slices in a pitcher with fresh water and ice cubes. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Garnish with an orange wedge or cucumber stick. For variety, follow the same instructions and use several sprigs of fresh tarragon, slices of lemon, lime, peach or even cinnamon sticks!

Apricot Fizz

Ingredients:

1 quart of limeade
3 cups of unsweetened apricot nectar
Sparkling water

Combine limeade with apricot nectar and chill. When serving, add ice cubes, fill glass halfway with sparkling water, then add juice mixture. Garnish with maraschino cherry.

I second each one of the above. As for the Terroni
stuff, let's do away with Deacon (Sean Kanan). He's
had his turn at the story line. Let's get someone new.

I agree with the dragging on of certain storylines right now like Nick/Sharon/Phyllis and hopefully, they stop Adam in his tracks very, very soon! The whole thing is getting boring....need new storylines and get rid of the Teroini/Ryder/Deacon storyline.

I'm disgusted with most of the current storylines right now. Adam is getting away with EVERYTHING and doesn't appear to be getting punished. We don't want to see him redeemed! Taking Sharon's baby from her and having Ashley think it is hers after that miscarriage? Killing Colleen (and I'm still not over Brad's death)? The constant back and forth with Nick/Sharon/Phyllis is awful for this Sharon/Nick fan. And the Terroni stuff is awful. I don't think I can take it anymore.

This story is going nowhere. Get rid of Adam and then maybe it has a chance or at least let it be found out what he has done and return Sharon and Nick's baby back to them. I am so fed up with the deception on this show. I can hardly watch it anymore. I remember a time when I couldn't wait for an epsiode. Now I have to struggle to watch it.

I am really not happy with what is happening with Sharon. When is she going to stop crying and be happy?

I am really disgusted the way this story is going. I am getting ready to stop watching it. It's getting too cruel. I've watched the show ever since it first started. There were times when I couldn't wait for the next episode. This is really too much. Unless things get resolved and Adam and that doctor are found out and Sharon's baby is returned, I will not continue to watch.
