Victoria Newman-Hellstrom acts more like Big DaddyVictor every day...
If Restless Whispers are to be believed, little Vicky Newman is a Chip Off the Old Block....or is it Chippy? First, there was Newman Enterprises' trouble with the SEC. It's nothing big, just a few casual "misunderstandings" aka "misrepresentations" to stockholders and the folks in Washington, D.C. whose job it is to make sure 2010 doesn't play out like 2008 and 2009 did. One thing's for sure, stockholders and government watchdogs are in no mood to be mis-led, which means "Mis" Thing was very fortunate the SEC decided to drop the investigation. Just like Dad, little Vicky is proving very adept at out maneuvering even the canniest government investigators.
But then came hunky hubby JT Hellstrom's decision to sack security at Newman and seek greener employment pastures elsewhere. But why? With the wife at the helm of Newman, Hellstrom's role as Director of Security for N.E. is set for life. Maybe not. In fact, definitely not; as poor JT is learning, when you marry into a family of jackals, the best you can hope for is eventually getting out with all your fingers and toes still attached. And forget your heart, we already know how woefully under-equipped the Newmans are in that department. Perhaps JT should have a heart-to-heart with Julia, Ashley, Leanna, or Diane. Heck, it might even be worthwhile to dust off the Ouija board and see if he can ring up Hope or Sabrina in hopes of benefiting from an even broader perspective.
It would appear that Hellstrom's departure had something to do with the appearance of Deacon Sharpe on the scene. In fact, apres the last stockholder meeting, Hellstrom made his feelings about Sharpe obvious with a left to the jaw. Why all the rancor, fellas? As the French say, "Cherchez la femme," which loosely translates as "Keep your eye on the woman." Restless Tongues wag that keeping an eye on Ms. Newman after hours would have been a full time job of late. Taking after Dad again, Vicky?
At any rate, shortly after Sharpe's jaw was re-aligned, Mr. Newman-Hellstrom accepted a position in New York City. In a last-minute decision, Mrs. Newman-Hellstrom decided to accompany her husband with their son. Their New York sojourn was short-lived however; within weeks, the Newman-Hellstroms were back in GC.
So everything is back to normal and everybody's happy? "We'll see," says the Wise Man.

yea i agree, i think Adam is over dew on getting cought. i am a very big beliver on, what goes around, comes around. and as always nick will come to sharon,s rescure. i dont think phillis well be ok with this. i think she will turn bad.so watch out genaral city.

The whole Adam story line is WAY too dragged out! Sharon is pathetic, my boyfriend catches the show with me from time to time and asks "is she the one with the mattress on her back?" LOL Time for her to either straighten out or be put away. Interesting that her and Adam are together now - oh the drama. Phyllis and Nick don't belong together - don't get me wrong, I like Nick, but he needs to get over Sharon first. A new handsome executive needs to be introduced for Phyllis - someone to give her a bit of attention perhaps? Also, how transparent is the Neil and Ashely thing, I predict they'll be next to hook up!
I have watched YR for about 25+ yrs and I am really upset with this deal with Adam and Sharon. First of all Hope would be so upset with the the things that he has done and is doing. Adam doesn't deserve Sharon. She has been hurt enough. Nick and Sharon need to be back together with their baby girl Faith and Noah.
Victor and Nicki need to come home. Victor and Nicki belong together and on the show, they have been on the show for many, many years. I am sure that there are many other veiwers out there that have wheeped many tears over them and their love for each other.
I have to say ..The Adam story is getting old already.. I think Adam should be found out .For Phyllis and Nick if it was real life Nick would be out on his butt no other woman is her right mind would put up with his crap. Sharon does need to know about her baby and get poor Faith back and have a real life with someone else...
I have been watching Y&R for years and I can not stand Adam I wish that someone besides Nick would get a clue about him. Nick really needs to either get over Sharon or leave Phyillis. He needs to stop leading her on. Billy is a whole other story, that man needs to stop feeling sorry for himself and try to make things right with Mac.
I am really sick and tired of Adam being on the show. He is the only person who gets away with everything. Now lets see whats gonna happen since he thought him and Sharon was dying and told her that the baby was alive. When is Y&R gonna get it together. Sharon sleeping with the enemy and worst of all worst her ex-husbands brother. Well i am also sick of Ryder too. When are they gone wake up people Daisy is doing all of this ridiculous things to Lauren and Eden knows the truth. Way to go Eden...I so love that girl for being a part of Noah's life.
Please let someone find out about adam soon. Hurry and bring victor back. I love phyllis.Let nick and phyllis stay together, they are a sexy couple. Take sharon to the health department.
I think the third person in the alleyway was Daisy beceause she is working with Ryder. I also think they are related too, they talked about a mom in todays episode.

I just saw who is replaceing Tucker McCall.. I don't know who he is, but he sure doesn't look old enought to really be that savy in the finance world. Lets keep the fellow, who plays Tucker, now. why change a horse in mid stream?
Lets' get "real" here. Jill is in her late 50's by now.. At least give her a "MAN" not a over-grown boy toy. It's time the soap exc's realise that their audiance base is not all the young kids any more but of all ages and us, Over 50 crowd can still have a full lust filled life. It's about time for Jill to have another affair. yeah,, again.
I wished, when there is "Law" involved that it was more to true life. 5th amendment.. yeah.. right. contempt of court, ick. Flawed judges.. and Heather's blantant dis-reguard of due process.
Let's respect the law, people. Those who break it get punished, big time. how about a little wrist slapping every now and then. But when it comes to a big crime, let the show be closer to what would really happen in today's courts.
Hi im 11 years old and i find the young and the is very interesting to me. I started watching the young and the rest less when Kathrine had the car crash with her her sister. I personally love the guy that plays billy because he is funny and likes to start trouble with Victoria. Go billy and i hope you will get back together with mac.

I have to agree with Val. Why do the writers keep bringing back people from the dead and allow people who are truly criminals to end up just walking away. Life should be so easy.,.. there would be a lot more murders if it were like soaps. We do need to remember these are NOT real people, just a figure of someone's imagination.
This might just be the "final straw" for me. If they bring back that psycho Shiela after Lauren like I think they are, I swear I am done with this program for good. Are these writers that bad that they have to keep using the same story lines over and over??? Come on writers....... lets do some real creative writing. I could make it more interesting!!!! Adam is just floating about..the writer i believe do not know what to do about him..get the ball rolling on that story line..as for sharon,she's running out of men to sleep with,maybe she should find herself a girlfriend...the ordeal with danial is finally starting to come around and i hope they make it really juicy...this new guy tucker,is he supost to be the new victor newman?? victor and nicky need to be back...the show just really needs to heat up again..i think it has hit a cold spot..i love this show,it is the only soap i watch..i got friends who's husbands watch and talk to me about it as well as my own husband..i think that is just 2 cool...
Well, Phyllis really surprised me today. Is there nothing she will not do to get what she wants?? It's all about her, controlling every situation. It really takes all for her to do what she did today. To get evidence besides the bag to clear Daniel, she is using it to blackmail Deacon Sharpe to take Amber out of town. That really takes the cake!!
When Nick finds out and he will, I wonder what he will do? If anything else happens to Daniel and Phyllis could have prevented that by turning over the new crucial evidence she found. She will never get over it.
I agree I can't believe how much garbage Adam has gotten away with he makes me SICK! I wish Sharon would find out what a psycho he is and get back her baby!

I think that Sharon is still in love with Nick. She is substituting him for Adam.
I have long given up the hope that what Adam has done will be found out, and Adam shown up for the man he is. I beginning to think Sharon's baby is better off with Ashley. Case in point, this new relationship with Sharon and Adam. Sharon is a loose cannon.
